
Nikki holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Ball State University, where she also earned her Master’s Degree in Elementary Education in 2013. With 17 years of experience teaching grades 1-3 in public schools, she is deeply passionate about education, fostering connections, and serving her community.

Nikki has been married to her husband, Eric, for 20 years. The couple met at Ball State University and are now raising their two wonderful children, Aiden and Hailey. Together, they love embarking on camping adventures and exploring the beauty of nature.

Sherryl was born and raised in Anderson, Indiana. She graduated from Indiana Christian Academy and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education from MBU in Wisconsin. Married to her husband Eric for 37 years, Sherryl had the joy of homeschooling their daughter, Erica (26), during her preschool and elementary years.
Throughout her career, Sherryl has taught students of various ages in diverse educational and para-educational settings. Last year marked her first year as an official preschool teacher at Fall Creek Christian Preschool. She expresses her gratitude for the opportunity to be a positive influence in the lives of preschoolers, saying, "Our families, especially our children, are the first and most important calling in each of our lives. Every child is a unique and precious person to God. He gives parents and the caregivers/educators they hire the privilege and responsibility to help them know God and become the person He wants them to be." (Proverbs 32:6, Luke 2:52).

Katlynn has been happily married to her husband, Taylor, for nine years. Together, they are raising three wonderful children: Carson (12), Paislee (7), and Ambrielle (6). They have been members of Fall Creek Christian Church for about eight years and truly cherish their community here. Katlynn enjoys cooking, cheering on her kids at their sports events, and vacationing with family and friends.
Katlynn holds a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Indiana Wesleyan University. Since 2018, she has gained valuable experience in education, serving as an assistant teacher at Head Start and in the special needs department for ACSC. Her passion lies in teaching, particularly young children.
Katlynn feels that Fall Creek Christian Preschool is where God has led her, and she is excited to be in her fourth year with the FCCP team. She continuously looks forward to this journey of serving your children and building meaningful relationships with everyone. We are truly blessed that God has brought her to FCCP! Her experience, knowledge, and genuine passion for nurturing young minds are sure to be a wonderful gift to our preschoolers.

Mariah grew up in Markleville, IN, and later moved to Lapel, IN during her teenage years. After graduating from Lapel High School, she pursued a career as a nursing assistant and phlebotomist. Mariah and her husband, Donny, are proud parents to three children: Matthew (23), Lily (10), and Glendon (6).
In 2015, after the birth of her daughter, Mariah made the decision to stay at home to focus on raising her family. During these years, she developed a deep passion for early childhood development, fostering a nurturing environment that supported her children’s growth and learning. This experience has laid a strong foundation for her to now bring that same care and guidance to the classroom.
Mariah began her educational career last year as an instructional assistant, where her love for teaching blossomed. This school year, she’s excited to take a bold step as a preschool literacy lead teacher, eager to learn, grow, and make a lasting impact on her students. Her goal is to create a joyful, creative, and supportive classroom where every child feels loved and inspired to learn.
Outside of the classroom, Mariah enjoys traveling, camping, spending time outdoors, and cheering on her kids at their sporting events.

Kim and her husband are proud parents of two children in Middletown, Indiana. They enjoy exploring their wooded property and are dedicated to creating a homestead, complete with flower fields, gardens, and animal pastures.
Kim holds a degree in Public Health Education from Indiana University in Bloomington and is an AFAA-certified Group Fitness Instructor. She previously owned a small fitness business for women that welcomed children to join their mothers in class.
Now in her fourth year at Fall Creek Christian Preschool, Kim is excited to connect with the staff and children in this wonderful program. She is grateful for the opportunity to continue serving preschoolers five days a week.

Lucia has three years of experience working in a pre-K setting before embracing the wonderful opportunity to be a full-time grandmother. For the past seven years, she has had the joy of teaching her six grandchildren—and with one more on the way, she’ll soon have seven! Lucia enjoys reading, cross-stitching, and playing cards. After serving as an assistant last year, she is excited to now teach the two’s class.

Michelle was born and raised right here in Pendleton, and still calls it home today with her husband and two daughters. Before becoming a preschool teacher, she spent several years as a stay-at-home mom—an experience that deepened her love for early childhood learning and gave her plenty of hands-on time with little ones.
In the classroom, she's passionate about creating a caring, playful, and safe environment where children feel free to explore, grow, and discover the joy of learning. She strives to nurture each child’s natural curiosity while helping them build confidence, kindness, and a strong foundation for the future.
Outside of school, you’ll often find her with her family, cheering at the ball field (both of my girls play travel softball!), or enjoying all that our Pendleton community has to offer.

Kimberly is a dedicated and passionate individual with a heart for working with children. She has been happily married to her husband for 9 years, and together they have two wonderful children.
Kimberly and her family have been attending FCCC for the past five years, although her connection with the church dates back to her middle school years. As an Instructional Assistant (IA), Kimberly is grateful for the opportunity to play a small yet meaningful role in the growth of the children she works with. She is deeply committed to showing them that they are loved and valued by God, and that they matter to both Him and those around them.
With six years of experience working with young children in various settings, Kimberly brings a wealth of knowledge and compassion to her work, always striving to create a nurturing and supportive environment for the kids in her care.

Lana graduated from PHHS and completed three years of education at Ball State University (BSU). She spent 20 years working as a Quality Planning Manager before transitioning to a role as an HR Manager, where she worked for 10 years.
Lana has been happily married to her husband, Mark, for nearly 20 years. Together, they are the proud parents of three wonderful children and have seven amazing grandchildren.
She feels incredibly blessed to have two of her grandchildren with her every day, and is thrilled to now watch more children grow and thrive at FCCP. Lana is excited to be part of their journey and to create a positive impact in their lives.

Peggy moved to Anderson many years ago and has held a variety of roles over the years. However, the most rewarding have been her 35 years as a pastor’s wife and her role as a devoted mother of three, grandmother to eight, and great-grandmother to four.
During her time in ministry, she especially loved serving in children’s programs—from nursery care to youth leadership—which deepened her passion for working with young people and sharing the love of Christ.
Now in her second year as an instructor’s assistant at Fall Creek Christian Preschool, she feels truly honored and blessed to be part of a ministry that nurtures young hearts. She is passionate about helping children learn and grow while showing them the love of Jesus through her words, actions, and care.

Marla and her husband, Rick, moved to Pendleton four years ago to be closer to their 11 grandchildren. With eight years of preschool teaching experience at her Indianapolis church, Marla has also led women’s ministry. She is passionate about sharing God’s truths from the Bible, witnessing His Word transform lives, and connecting with people of all ages.
Celebrating 51 years of marriage, Marla and Rick are blessed with four married daughters and their cherished grandchildren—her most important mission field. In her free time, Marla enjoys playing pickleball, walking, attending her grandkids’ sporting events, knitting, traveling with her husband, and being part of a loving church family.
At FCCP, Marla will serve as a volunteer and guest teacher as needed. She is also one of the dedicated leaders and mentors in the moms’ ministry, Momology. We are grateful that she feels led to serve at FCCP!

Kayla and her husband, Darren, live in Anderson, IN with their two boys, Callum and Caden. Their family has been part of Fall Creek Christian Church since spring 2024.
Kayla first joined the preschool as a Preschool Literacy Teacher before stepping into her current role as Administrative Assistant and Marketing Coordinator. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Business, and Leadership, and brings with her professional experience in project management and marketing from her corporate career prior to becoming a mother.
In her new role, Kayla supports the preschool team by managing communications, creating newsletters, and overseeing social media outreach. Working behind the scenes, she helps strengthen organization and ensure the program runs smoothly, all while supporting staff and families with care and dedication.
